Elaine, as she was fondly known, worked at Lowe’s Home Improvement for many years until her retirement in 2019.

Early Life and Family

Elaine was born to the late Billy Joe Page and Mary Fredine Simpson Page. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Jo Nell Page and Carol Page Polston. Elaine was a loving mother and grandmother who greatly valued her family. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Buren Carriker of Monroe, and her children and grandchildren who remember her fondly.

From her childhood, Elaine attended Shiloh Advent Christian Church in Monroe. Her faith and dedication to her church community were unwavering. The church played a significant role in her life and was a place where she found both solace and community.

Funeral Services

Her memorial services reflected her strong ties to Monroe North Carolina. The family received friends on April 16, 2024, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service was held at Shiloh Advent Christian Church Monroe, officiated by Rev. Travis Hutcheson, followed by burial at the church cemetery.

  • Nine step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren
